The Brotherhood of the Jug Band Blues, 12.22.12

The Brotherhood of the Jug Band Blues released an LP, the second ever under the Jalopy label, on December 22, 2012. The record is of shiny blue vinyl, and includes a comic written by Ernesto Gomez and illustrated by Jess Ruliffson: also all the song lyrics, some great photos, and more art. CD's are also available. A performance by Isto opened the show. I always enjoy his skill and humor so much. [caption id="attachment_2015" align="alignleft" width="490" caption="Isto, 12.22.12. Geoff Wiley, Artie Stiles, Jackson Lynch, Ernie Vega, Ernesto Gomez, Jerie Choi, Alex Battles (downstage left), and Pat Conte. From my seat I regretted that I could not see Rashad Brown at the piano.
