My Book is Here!
Tuesday, November 3rd, 2009My book, “Live From the Audience, A Year of Drawing at the Jalopy Theatre” has arrived from the printer! I am really pleased with the reproduction quality.
This 7.5-inch square book is filled with color reproductions of the 13 paintings in my exhibit (running at the Jalopy Theatre in Brooklyn through January 2, 2010), plus plenty of live sketches done over the past year from the audience during Jalopy performances.

Live From the Audience, Book by Robin Hoffman
Artists depicted in the Exhibit include: Bob Guida, Mamie Minch, Ernie Vega, Jessy Carolina, Hubby Jenkins, Stephanie Nilles, Feral Foster, Tony Scherr, Rashad Brown, Frank Hoier, Emma Graves, Blind Boy Paxton, and Lynette and Geoff Wiley. The book includes all the images in the show plus several live sketches. In addition, I’ve included live sketches of Jack Lynch, Pat Conte, Eli Smith, Craig Judelman, The Maybelles, Jen Kwok, Dom Flemins, American String Conspiracy, Guy Davis, Doug Skinner, Franglais, The Ukuladies, Howard Fishman, Radio Jarocho, Jane Gilday, Andru Bemis, Les Chauds Lapins, Audra Tsanos, and Red Hook Slim.
I have copies for sale at Jalopy. Only $20! You can also order it here. It’s a lot more fun and a little bit cheaper to get one at Jalopy.
Come check it out in person at Jalopy. I hope you enjoy it!

Franglais. I enjoy them more each time I see them. Incidently, they seem like nice people, too. Left to right: Justin Lees, Piruz Partow, Eve Seltzer, and Ben Wood.
