Sometimes I like to stitch my individual drawings of a big group together, like Annie Liebowitz’s Vanity Fair covers:

 

Peter Stampfel and the Ether Frolic Mob plays  monthly at Jalopy. This was the first time I attended, although I was already familiar with almost every artist onstage from their various other gigs.

1st Annual Brooklyn Folk Festival

The first Annual Brooklyn Folk Festival was held at the Jalopy from May 15-17. 

The first night, I caught the following:

 

Hubby mentioned that some friends from high school were in the audience, who had never seen him perform before.
