Franglias have become one of my favorite bands to draw. They are: Justin Lees, Eve Seltzer, Piruz Partow, and Ben Wood.
Roots n Ruckus 09.30.09
Monday, October 5th, 2009On Sept. 30th I drew the first half of a great Roots n Ruckus. But first, a field trip to the Met Museum:
This is one of the drawings in the Jean-Antoine Watteau “Music and Theatre” exhibit. Watteau was also really into drawing musicians and performers. I’m not as excited about his paintings, but the way he drew… well, maybe you can see some influence on myself. There are a few drawings of people playing guitar. It’s worth seeing just for those sketches.
