Gina Leishman in A Tribute to Connie Converse, 09.05.09

At Joe’s Pub on September 5, a tribute to Connie Converse featured five singers and the songs of the mysterious Connie Converse, who packed up her belongings into a Volkswagon Bug one day and disappeared. No one knows where or whether she is, but her songs have now been rediscovered big time.
