Ukuladies!
Friday, May 29th, 2009The Ukuladies are great musicians and comediennes. I enjoyed every song of their two sets.

Appearing like a ghost in my drawing is Shaky Dave, another harmonica soloist I’m proud to have captured. Like rare butterflies, these harmonica guys are to draw. They appear onstage for one song at a time and move constantly. Anyways, Dave gamely wore a red pinafore to appear onstage with the Ukuladies.

1st Annual Brooklyn Folk Festival

The first Annual Brooklyn Folk Festival was held at the Jalopy from May 15-17.
The first night, I caught the following:

Hubby mentioned that some friends from high school were in the audience, who had never seen him perform before.
